My aim may not be simple, but it is straightforward - put an American name and flag to the last of the great geographical
challenges - the most demanding and arduous endeavors on earth – all solo, without outside assistance and
without the aid of machine or animal. Welcome to Expedition Earth, a portal to these expeditions.

Upcoming - November 2009: 400 mile self supported traverse in the Namib Desert – Namibia, Africa - alone, without assistance, re-supplies or the aid of machine or animal –
a World’s First. An intensely arid and hot sand dune desert the Namib runs parallel
to the Atlantic Ocean in South West Africa. Known for its mammoth 300 meter dunes, colossal sand storms and hunting packs
of hyena, this trek will set new boundaries for human achievement in extreme desert environments. With absolutely no potable water available along the route and by
pressing the limits as to how much water a human can haul, I will be racing against time in order to survive the 21 day trek
with 21 days worth of water – pulling as much as 350 pounds in a cart behind me.
